Idea conclave for better Bengaluru-2018 was inaugurated by Sri. Rama, CEO, ELCITA, Sri. Nagarathna, Principal, M S Ramaiah College of arts, science and commerce, Sri Sanjeev Kubbakaddi, Executive member, VTU and Ms. Srilekha P, Convener, SFD. Sri. Rama, CEO, ELCITA, stressed on how a smart city can me made without disturbing the harmony between nature and mankind., Sri. Nagarathna, Principal, M S Ramaiah College of arts, science and commerce extended her best regards in the efforts put forth by the students’ organisation. Post inaugural session, technical sessions followed on with the interaction of many eminent speakers.
Students also presented their ideas for making Bangalore, a better Bangalore. Few of the most impactful sessions were Real life achievers- Panel which included commoners of the city significantly women, and the Women- Panel which encompassed the whole concept of simple living high thinking; how a power from within kitchens reached a self-sustaining NGO and many more. The highlight of the event was the SFD awards. It was a new initiative taken up by SFD Bangalore to recognise and award the individuals and the institutions that have involved themselves in the best practices. An overwhelming response was obtained from the public.
The event made its remarkable ending with recognizing the winners of various categories held. The amount received from your end was presented to Awards-
